Galway City Museum is a collectors paradise for items of cultural heritage relating to the city of Galway and its wonderful people. There are over 1000 objects in the current collection, most of which have been donated and contributed by the people of Galway over the past 40 years. Part of the collection is on display and those objects not on display make up the museum’s reserve collection and are kept in secure storage.
